Join literacy leaders and educators from across North Carolina for a half-day professional learning experience focused on ensuring striving readers receive the right kind of intervention to support meaningful growth.

For many students in third grade and beyond, what appears to be solely a comprehension problem may actually be the result of gaps in decoding skills. In this engaging session, participants will explore how to recognize the underlying needs of struggling readers and better match students with the type of reading intervention they need most.

Attendees will leave with practical strategies and insights to help identify where students need support, make more informed intervention decisions, and provide ample opportunities for students to strengthen their skills and experience greater reading success.
