This one-day, on-site workshop introduces the characteristics of striving readers and the research behind SPIRE's Structured Literacy Approach.
You'll review all teacher and student materials and learn to navigate each component. After experiencing a complete Model Lesson, you'll practice and analyze all ten steps of the instruction sequence.
Workshop includes:
- Hands-on practice with core teaching strategies
- Progress monitoring assessment techniques
- Materials organization methods
- Introduction to SPIRE Star Digital Teacher Companion
- Overview of EPS Reading Assistant with adaptive feedback
- Placement Test administration and interpretation
