Martin County needed a reading intervention program that provided teachers the necessary scaffolding to effectively support their striving readers. With SPIRE, educators gained a flexible, science of reading aligned approach, and students saw measurable growth. A study across 13 elementary schools revealed a statistically significant relationship between SPIRE lesson completion and gains in Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) scores from Fall 2022 to Spring 2023.
