The SPIRE 4th Edition Refresher Training is designed for educators who want additional support with their current SPIRE implementation, are teaching SPIRE without formal training, or are restarting their use of the program.
During this interactive 2-hour session, teachers will strengthen their understanding of SPIRE best practices and gain practical strategies to improve implementation and student outcomes. Topics include:
- Recommended pacing and scheduling guidance
- Adjusting instructional intensity to meet diverse learner needs
- Strategies for increasing student engagement
- Deepening understanding of the six key implementation “levers,” including explicit instruction, conversation, segmenting and blending, encoding, and checking for understanding
- Tips for organizing and managing SPIRE materials and resources
Participants will leave with actionable guidance, renewed confidence, and tools to support successful, high-impact SPIRE instruction.
